This free set of spring handwriting practice pages will be a fun, seasonal addition to your printing practice.
You can download a set of ten free spring handwriting practice pages for your students to use.
These pages will provide your children with seasonal fine motor practice.
This is another free resource for teachers and homeschool families from www.freewordwork.com.
Fine Motor Practice
Fine motor skills are those movements that involve the small muscles in your hands and wrists.
These skills are very important for children to work on. You can easily weave them into your early childhood and early elementary day.
Provide LEGOs for building and cards for lacing. You can also encourage children to practice cutting skills or stringing beads on string.
Weaving these fine motor opportunities into your school day has become even more necessary as children spend more time on electronics and less time building the muscles they once built during play.
Spring Handwriting Practice
This download contains an assortment of ten printable pages.
You can print a variety of pages and then let children choose the page they would like best.
Provide your students with different handwriting materials. Different tools require different grips. They might use colored pencils, markers and thick crayons. This will add a little fun while you are sneaking in important practice.
Another option is to print and laminate the pages. You can then allow students to use dry erase markers or Vis-a-Vis markers. They can wipe them down when complete and be reused.
Some pages will be just tracing. Other pages will have students copy the words. Finally, other options will ask for a student response.
