You can use these to create your own dinosaur scrambled sentences.
This is another free resource for teachers and homeschool families from The Curriculum Corner.
So, my reading stories had the book Barnum’s Bones as a read aloud along with an informational text passage about why the dinosaurs died off.
As we were working on these in class, I found that even in sixth grade, dinosaurs were high interest. I decided to work in a couple of centers the following week with a dinosaur focus.
It has been an engaging two weeks for my students. They are excited about the topics we are reading and sharing new facts with each other as they learn.
It is certainly not a topic I would have chosen on my own but once I saw the interest, decided to follow the interests of my students.
I wanted to make sure that they content we were learning still challenged my students.
These sentences share facts that went beyond the basic dinosaur facts they learned when they were younger.
Also, I made sure that the sentences were more complicated and required some work to sort.
