As you wrap up your school year, camping is always a fun theme for the final week or two.
(Contains an affiliaite link. I earn a small commision when you purchase a book from this link.) There are many read alouds you can share with a camping theme. One of my favorites is A Camping Spree with Mr. Magee.
Another fun idea is to make smores in the classroom or maybe a trail mix. You can add in recipe writing and measuring!
You can also head outside to make nature observations.
These camping cut-up sentences
This download contains eight different sentences. Each sentence contains between four and six words so your students can choose the one that works best for them.
All of the sentences have a camping theme.
To complete the activity, you will have students cut along the dotted lines on the bottom.
Next, they will unscramble the words to create a sentence. The sentence will include all of the words provided and end with a punctuation mark.
Once they feel like their sentence makes sense, they can glue it in the boxes.
Finally, have students illustrate the sentence to show the meaning.
